SlideMVP makes sliding mats for baseball and softball that help players learn safe, confident feet-first sliding with way less fear. It was created by Coach Robby Little to make sliding easier to teach during real practices, not just in perfect conditions. The goal is simple: more reps, cleaner slides, and kids who run the bases like they actually trust what they’re doing.enhances sliding technique, boosts speed, and improves agility on the basepaths. Most importantly, SLIDEMVP™ helps players build confidence and take their game to the next level.

The Moment It Clicked

  • It started with an 8U team and a simple question: how do you teach kids to slide?

  • Most teams skipped it, or tried cardboard once and moved on. Sliding hard to teach in a normal practice.

  • One day it clicked. With a smooth surface and clear steps, kids learned feet-first sliding fast. Parents saw confidence replace fear, and coaches saw a skill finally stick.

  • That’s when SlideMVP stopped being an idea and turned into a real tool.

From Cardboard to SlideMVP

We tested about 30 different materials until one finally felt right. Then we spent the next year dialing in everything around it. Printing, logo work, warning and caution labels, writing the manual, packaging, and real market testing.

Since then, SlideMVP has sold over 20,000 mats, with interest from MLB teams, Division 1 programs, and coaches and families all over the place.
