Turn hesitation into confidence.
One rep at a time.
SlideMVP gives players a safe place to practice before the pressure hits. When the moment comes in a game, they don't slow down. They go.
Coaches expect players to slide. Almost nobody actually teaches them how.
Most coaches say "go" and hope the player figures it out. But sliding isn't instinct.
It's a skill that feels scary without enough practice, and once that fear sets in, no amount of encouragement from the dugout fixes it.
The fix isn't more urgency. It's safe practice before the game ever asks for it.
The practice is the lesson. SlideMVP makes it repeatable.
Sliding clicks from repetition on a surface that feels safe enough to actually commit to. Cardboard shifts and tears, which means players still brace every time. SlideMVP gives a consistent lane: same surface, same feel, every time, until hesitation disappears and the slide becomes automatic.
Every mat includes an instructional guide simple enough for a parent to run and clear enough for a player to follow on their own.
5 minutes. Roll it out. Get the reps. Put it away.
That's the whole practice. No hose. No soap. No setup circus.
Start here. Build real confidence.

Real players. Real reps. Real confidence.
"Huge confidence builder."
My 10U daughter was afraid to slide and it was costing her outs in her fastpitch games. A few practices with this and there's been a huge improvement!

"The next play at home plate, my son slid in with confidence."
My son was in a play at home base and he didn't slide and got out. He was so upset because he hesitated. We tried several things before SlideMVP. When I brought it to our team's practice, all of the players loved it!

"So much fun using that they forget about practicing how to slide."
Great tool for my players. Instead they feel like they are using a slip and slide.

Cardboard works until it doesn't. Most of the time, "doesn't" happens when your player is mid-practice. Padded mats solve the fear problem but create a new one: they're heavy, expensive, and feel more like facility gear than something you'd actually roll out in a backyard.
SlideMVP sits in the middle: more consistent than DIY, more portable than foam, and built to fit into real family and team routines, not just ideal training conditions.
Not sure which size fits your player?
87 Series — $114
Best for: Youth players, recreational and travel families, coaches running portable drills
Lane size: 27" × 87"
Lane size: 27" × 87"
The right starting point for most players. Wide enough to build proper form, compact enough to use anywhere. If you're buying for a youth player, 8U through early high school, this is your mat.
108 Series — Starting at $164
Best for: Older, faster athletes | High school and travel coaches | Teams and facilities
Lane size: 36" × 108"
Weight: Under 6 lbs
The extra lane gives bigger athletes room to build full-speed approach, stay centered, and finish with a clean pop-up. If your player is older, faster, and already committed to developing, or you're running a program, the 108 is the better fit.
Not sure?
Start with the 87. It's the right first mat for the vast majority of players and families. You'll know when they've outgrown it.
Try it for real. No pressure.
90-Day Try It For Real
You have 90 days to train with SlideMVP. Get the practice in. Teach the steps. Build confidence. If it doesn't work for you or your team, reach out within 90 days and we'll refund your purchase. No stress. No hoops.
Replacement Coverage for Training Accidents
Early practice can get messy. A player might hit the mat wrong. Their weight can cause it to fold. In rare cases, a crack can happen. If your mat is damaged during normal training use, we'll replace it. Because the whole point is practice, and you shouldn't be nervous to train.
Not covered: cleat punctures or cleat-related damage. We recommend training in sneakers or turf shoes.
Manufactured in the USA
Built with the same standard we'd use on a field. Because training tools should hold up the same way the skill does.
Questions parents and coaches actually ask.
What age is the 87 Series best for?
Most youth players from roughly 7U through early high school. The lane size is built for players who are learning the skill and building form, not yet training at full approach speed. Once your player is consistently sliding at speed and outrunning the lane, that's the signal to move to the 108.
Can we use it indoors?
Yes. The mat works indoors and outdoors: garage, basement, gym floor, backyard, practice facility. The surface doesn't require grass or dirt underneath. Roll it out on any flat surface and you're ready.
Do I need to know how to teach sliding?
No. Every mat comes with the complete instructional guide. It walks players and coaches through the progression from stance to pop-up, simple enough for a parent to run and clear enough for a player to follow on their own.
What about cleats?
The mat is built for training in regular athletic footwear. Cleat punctures are not covered under our replacement policy, but most families and coaches run these sessions in sneakers or turf shoes, which is fine.
How is SlideMVP different from just using cardboard?
Cardboard shifts, tears, and creates inconsistent surface conditions, which means players still brace for impact every time. SlideMVP is a fixed lane with a consistent, low-friction surface built for repetition. The experience is different enough that players stop guessing and start trusting.
What if the mat gets damaged during a normal training session?
If it takes damage through normal training use, we'll replace it. We built the replacement policy because we want players to train without holding back. The only exception is cleat punctures, which aren't covered.
Build the confidence before the game asks for it.
The first attempt is the hardest one. After that, it gets easier every time. SlideMVP gives players a safe place to practice, with a system that works, so the game moment isn't the first time they trust themselves.
