    Kids love it!

    I coach 7-9 year olds and we had many kids who were actually kind of afraid to slide. Once a few of the kids started on this the other more reserved kids saw the fun they were having and quickly got in line (even when they were supposed to be doing something else oddly enough). The other cool part was after a few rounds we had kids doing pop up slides, 7 year olds. Then they all had to compete and try pop up slides. We had coaches giving high 10's to keep their hands up, and the kids popping up after. Whole thing was amazing.

    We had them running the full 50 feet, and one of the boys on our team slid 23 times. Dude looked like we poured Gatorade on him.

    My only warning would be if you add this as it's own station throughout practice, at younger ages kids are going to ditch their station and go to this. Now we use this as a reward for a good practice, because once this thing is out, it's out. There is no putting it away.

    Good product but….

    This is a good product but the team I bought it for already damaged it. A player slide hard on it and a tear or hole appeared. We don’t know exactly how it happened.

    let's get the mat replaced for you. accident happen.

    If it is a hole, it is likely a knee struck the mat just right. These things happen but we got you covered. Remind players to slide on their butts and work on avoiding the knee or shin because that will hurt a lot on the dirt/clay/turf.

    Kids love it and don't ever want to quit. Overall sliding for my team improved in just a couple of practices. So easy to teach with the videos. They just can't get enough. Video is 1st timer using it....

early reps can get funky. a player might hit the mat wrong. their weight can cause it to fold. in rare cases, a crack can happen. a knee can come down hard on an early rep, and that impact can even put a hole in the mat. if your mat is damaged during normal training use, we’ll replace it. because the whole point is practice. practice is imperfect. and you shouldn’t be nervous to train.

cleat punctures or cleat-related damage. we recommend not using cleats on the mat for this reason, and we can’t replace punctures caused by cleats.
